This expendable blast shield allows for use on the A.P.E. and other hub thread interfaces (1.375x24tpi). The aluminum construction allows this to be used for several thousand rounds to prevent erosion of hand guard and A.P.E. device, and will act as a placeholder until a silencer can be obtained. Tightens and loosens with a standard castle nut wrench.
