The Armored Pinnable Extension (A.P.E.) is a universal hub (1.375x24) silencer mount that also doubles as a protective shield and contact barrier for the silencer itself. This mount has the ability to be pinned and welded to the muzzle threads of the barrel for permanent attachment to the barrel and to assist with barrel length compliance. The available thread pitch options as well as the use of the hub suppressor mounting interface allows the A.P.E. to be used on a large variety of firearms and nearly all suppressor brands on the market.

The combination of carbon steel and lightweight aluminum makes the A.P.E. lighter than the combined weight of most suppressor adapters and muzzle devices. This means that the A.P.E. adds no detectable weight increase and most likely a decrease to most suppressor mounting setups.
